Derrick Fisher is a liability for the Lakers on defense with his inability to guard anyone on the court. When will Phil Jackson relegate Fisher to the second unit? I expect Denver to start fast in game 6 at home and bring some offensive energy into this contest. When Phil finally pulls Fisher back to the bench were he truly belongs for good LA will pick up the offense. Shannon Brown and Jordan Farmer add speed and quickness to the Lakers attack offensively when running the first unit. With Brown and Farmer working with the first team LA can finally take advantage of Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom’s ability to run the court. This is what is missing with Derrick Fisher on the court. He no longer wants to run and it takes away transition points. A tremendous strength on this LA team is having two bigs who can run the court. I expect Fisher to get yanked after Denver makes a huge run with him in the lineup early and the Lakers reserve guards to bring the offense. This will lead to a high scoring game with a fast pace. Phil Jackson cannot keep getting killed on the road with Derrick Fisher guarding noboby on the court. I expect Fisher to be on a short leash and for the young Laker guards to get the call earlier and recieve more minutes in this contest. Thus a higher scoring game I expect. Bet game 6 over.
