Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears NFL Free Pick
The betting odds from this week one NFL preseason contest have the Bears favored by -3 points. The over under in this contest is set at 34 ½ points. These two clubs had a memorable game in 2011 as the Broncos posted the 13-10 overtime home victory. Chicago gave away the game as running back Marion Barber stopped the clock by running out of bounds giving the Broncos time to tie the game. Peyton Manning gets his first start for Denver tonight. Head coach John Fox estimated the number of plays for Manning in his first preseason game to be between 10-15 snaps maximum. We get our first peek of Denver second round draft pick Brock Osweiler a quarterback out of Arizona St. Much like Peyton Manning Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler will see limited time under center. It will be interesting to see how Jason Campbell handles a backup role in Chicago knowing he has no chance of taking Jay Cutler’s job in Denver. Chicago got depth at running back by signing Michael Bush behind starter Matt Forte.
