It will be interesting to see if there will be talk of revenge on Saturday for the Jets as they were embarrassed by the Giants 29-14 last year as a -3 point home favorite in their regular season meeting. Jets head coach Rex Ryan ran his mouth during press conference and there was plenty of chatter from the Jets side heading into the game but the Giants outscored their NY rivals 19-7 in the second half to win going away.
Last week the Giants opened up with the Jaguars in their opener from the exhibition season and lost 32-31 but covered the +2 ½ point underdog spread with the game going over the total of 34 ½ points. The Jets were an inept offense last week as they opened their preseason with a 17-6 road defeat at the Bengals while failing to cover the +1 point spread in the game.
