Now as far as the FREE PICK right here on the FreePicks.US web site I am looking at the Maryland Terrapins on the road at the California Golden Bears game. Right now at Bookmaker.com which is “Where the Line Originates” puts the California Golden Bears a huge twenty-one(-21) point favorite with the over / under total of fifty and one-half(50.5) points scored.

I will be on the Maryland Terrapins plus the points this first Saturday of the 2009 NCAA college football season and here is my best reason why. Last year in 2008 betting Maryland plus the points against California turned out to be one of my biggest plays of the year. I had the Terrapins not only plus the fourteen(14) point spread, but I also had them on the money line at +700 as a BIG underdog winner! If I liked Maryland catching two(2) touchdowns last year you know I have to take them again just a year later when playing the same team and now catching three(3) touchdowns.

Maybe I got lucky last year cashing both winning bet tickets, but even if that is true I am willing to take a shot with the Maryland Terrapins once again both to win the game outright and against the spread in hoping to set the tempo to what I expect to be another MONSTER college football season for Dave “The MeatMan” Scandaliato!
