We came in with a nice winner on Saturday as the Wichita St Shockers pounded the Northern Iowa Panthers from college basketball.

On Sunday we stick with college basketball and the PAC 10 conference rivalry contest between the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona St Sun Devils.

Tip off time from Arizona St is set for 9PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by FSN.

With our free pick on Sunday we will select the Arizona Wildcats -4 ½ points against the Arizona St Sun Devils.

This game features two clubs going in totally opposite directions this season.

The Wildcats are playing good basketball as the club are winners of 7 straight games with three of those wins coming on the highway.

The team is shooting just outstanding hitting no less than 47.3% over their past four games.

In their first meeting against the Sun Devils they earned an 11 point victory but dominated the glass by 14 big rebounds.

Its been a bad season for Arizona St as the club is just 9-14 straight up and tangled in the midst of a 7 game losing streak.

They have dropped four straight home games to PAC 10 opponents this season.

The Sun Devils have struggled big time on the defensive end of the court as they have allowed the competition to hit on 46.4% or more from the field in six of their past seven games.

Our free pick tonight we will play on the Wichita St Shockers -1 ½ points against the Northern Iowa Panthers.

Wichita St has been an outstanding road team this season as the club is 8-1 straight up.

The Shockers are out to revenge a 3 point loss back in mid January on their home court against this Panthers club.

The club owns a 14 point road win at Creighton this season.

The Wichita St Shockers have shot well hitting on 46% of better in six of their past eight games against conference opponents.

In a fourteen point win at Drake the team hit on nearly 52% of their shots following up on a good performance at Creighton.

The Panthers are not near as good as the team that had a deep run in the tournament last season as they had to replace three key starters in Ali Farokhmanesh, Adam Koch and big man Jordan Eglseder.

Northern Iowa has dropped two straight and to make matters worse for the Panthers rotational player forward Lucas O’Rear is now out of the season.

He contributed on the boards with nearly 6 a night and the team has struggled in his absence.

Phoenix Suns versus Utah Jazz Friday 2-11-2011 ESPN TV NBA Pro Basketball Free Pick

Our free pick on Friday comes from the late night NBA pro basketball game between the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz.

Start time from Utah is set for 10:35PM Eastern Time with ESPN providing the national television telecast.

With our free pick we will play on the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz to play over the total of 209 points.

With the coaching change in Utah with the retirement of head coach Jerry Sloan and assistant coach Phil Johnson I expect the Jazz to be a bit more offensive minded in this contest.

The Suns have not been very good on the defensive end of the court on the road this season as the club allows its opponents 108 points and 48.2% shooting from the floor.

Utah has put up points in their past three games against bad defensive clubs with 107 points against Sacramento, 105 against Oklahoma City and 113 points at Denver.

Santa Clara is a very experienced team with five returning starters from a year ago.

The club has played very well on their home court with straight up wins against Gonzaga and Portland in conference games.

Santa Clara are winners of five of their past six games and are in a revenge spot having lost to St Mary’s earlier in this season.

The BYU Cougars have completely dominated the Air Force Falcons in recent match ups with outright double digit victories in four straight meetings.

Last year at Air Force the Cougars clobbered the Falcons by 18 points.

Jimmer Fredette is playing great basketball for the Cougars averaging 34 points per game over his past 10 contests.

Air Force is has struggled against the top echelon teams in the Mountain West conference with recent double digit losses to New Mexico and UNLV at home and BYU and San Diego St on the road.

Air Force has had problems generating offense against the top clubs in their conference and BYU will run away and cover this number once again.

Pittsburgh Steelers versus Green Bay Packers FOX TV Super Bowl 45 NFL Pro Football Props Betting Odds Free Pick

With our free pick on Sunday we select a couple of prop plays from Super Bowl 45 between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

Super Bowl XLV will commence from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas at 6:25PM Eastern Time with FOX providing a national television broadcast.

Our Super Bowl props free picks are playing more points scored in the first half laying -½ point at +110 and for the total to be over 13 ½ points in the fourth quarter.

There is always a feeling out process to start things out in a game of this magnitude. We often see scoring very limited in the first quarter.

The game will begin to open up in the second half as each team makes those adjustments during the extended halftimes that we have in Super Bowls.

I expect there to be quite a bit of passing in this Super Bowl impacting the play of both defenses as the pass rush for both teams beginning to lose steam late.

With more time for Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers to operate against tiring defense look for more points in the second half of this game and for a high scoring fourth quarter.

Also note Ben Roethlisberger has a very good passer rating at 110 during the fourth quarter this season ranking first in the NFL.

Bet more points scored in the second half and the fourth quarter to play over the total of 13 ½ points.
