The Blue Jays over the Phillies at (+152). The Phillies couldn’t hold the Blue Jays again last night as the Jays put up 8 runs against them. It’s not likely that the Phillies’ Joe Blanton will be able to do much better today against the streaky Jays to avoid the sweep. The Jays are putting Brad Mills on the mound for his major league debut today. Mills is one of their top pitching prospects but hasn’t been posting great numbers in the minors so far, however, we’re going to give this kid the benefit of the doubt that he’ll have his best stuff going today with it being his first chance to pitch on the big stage. Take the Jays to complete the sweep today.

The Mariners over the Padres at (EVEN). The Padres have dropped their last 24 of 28 interleague games. Are you kidding me?!? That’s the worst interleague record in all of baseball. Not to mention, the Padres are currently on a 5 game losing streak. These guys are really struggling and there’s not much to convince me that it won’t continue today. The Padres are throwing Josh Geer who is in the rotation for the injured Jake Peavy. Last Saturday, which was Geer’s last start, he allowed a career-worst seven runs and nine hits in just 5 innings. Look for the Mariners to complete the sweep.
